I paint with words, but
others paint with photographs and beautiful artwork - Carol Hancock took the
original photo of Paleface, then Yvette Frahn skillfully captured the likeness
with her brushes and paints. When artists work together in collaboration it
usually proves to be a win /win situation and hopefully it shares the awareness
of our brumbies plight even further afield.

She wields her
colours skillfully, each line a master stroke
capturing a
great likeness of this loved iconic bloke
who is no
longer with us or perhaps just far away
the image is of
Paleface - a Kosciusko grey,
revered by
brumby lovers, who knew this fellow well,
from images in photographs,
he wove a magic spell.
And now he
gazes out at us. Two artists worked
together,
Yvette and Carol shared their skills -
Paleface remains forever.
